The Historical Places Mentioned In Qur’an

Allah Sent His Messengers To All The Tribes By Turns For The Human Welfare .Those Messengers (Peace Be Upon Them) Enlightened The World By Showing The Ways Of Happiness And Humanity. From The First People And First Prophet Of The Universe, Hadrat Adam (As) (Peace Be Upon Him) To The Last Prophet, Hadrat Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam (Peace Be Upon Him) They All Have Shown Us The Way Of Peace And Love.


Today We’ll Discuss About Those Places, Where They (Pbuh) Had Come And In Which Tribes And In Which places They Came? What Happened With Those People Who Opposed Their Messeges?  In The Light Of Qur’an And Archeological Discoveries We'll Discuss.

Qur’an Mentioned About All These 1400 Years Ago About Those Places Which Places Are Being Discovered After 1400 Century Or After Mentioned In Qur'an.

(Chptr-27/Verse-69)-  “Say To Them (O Muhammad Saw) ”Travel In The Land And See How Has Been The End Of The Criminals (Those Who Denied Allah’s Messengers And Disobeyed Allah).”

By Qur’an We’re Being Advised To Travel All Over The World And Know The Ancient History And About The Ancient People And About Their Circumstances. In Qur’an There’s Mentioned About Some Incidents Of Those People Who Are Now A Days Being Discovered By The Archeologists. So Let See What Qur’an Says About Those Incidents And About The Ancient Tribes And Places.

Hazrat Nooh (AS) And His Tribe

(Chptr-11/Verse-44)-  “And It Was Said: ”O Earth! Swallow Up Your Water, And O Sky! Withhold (Your Rain).” And The Water Was Diminished (Made To Subside) And The Decree (Of Allah) Was Fulfilled (I.E. The Destruction Of The People Of Nuh (Noah). And It (The Ship) Rested On Mount Judi, And It Was Said: ”Away With The People Who Are Zalimun

(Polytheists And Wrong-Doing)!”

In This Ayah Of Qur’an Was Told About The Judi Mountain Which Is Situated At The Border Of Armenia And  Turkey. It’s Height is about 6,800 Ft. which is overwhelmed with ice and 300 km far from ararat valley.

In The Year Of 1959 A Turkish Pilot Took This Picture Which Was The Judi Mountain’s Picture And It Seems Like A Boat. This Is Laid Almost 6300 Ft Above Sea Level And This Is Enough High For A Flood To Touch The Mountain. It Is Nearly Above 200 Miles From The Nearest Sea.

Ad Tribe

.Aad Tribe:- One Of The Area Of Oman Buried In Desert Approximately 7000 Years Ago. It’s Capital Was Ubar’ In 1992  When A Company Excavated The Land To Search Gas Mines, Found The Corrosion Of  Ad’s Tribe. They Found The Lost City ‘Ubar’ And About This Allah Mentioned In Qur’an,,.

(Chptr-11/Verse-50)-  “And To ’Ad (People I Sent) Their Brother Hud. He Said, ”O My People! Worship Allah! You Have No Other Ilah (God) But Him. Certainly,
You Do Nothing But Invent (Lies)!”

(Chptr-89/Verse-6,7,8)-   “Did You (O Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him)) Not See (Thought) How Your Lord Dealt With ’Ad (People)? ”

According to Qur'an they are very tall

“Who Were Very Tall Like Lofty Pillars,”

“The Like Of Which Were Not Created In The Land? ”

The People Of Ad Tribe Were Very Tall And Their Heads Were Around 5ft And The Height  Whole Of The Body Was Around 25 To 32 Ft. They Were Very Tall And Very Strong People That Ever Sent In This Earth By Allah.

(Chptr-69/Verse-6,7)-  “And As For ’Ad, They Were Destroyed By A Furious Violent Wind;”“Which Allah Imposed On Them For Seven Nights And Eight Days In Succession, So That You Could See Men Lying Overthrown (Destroyed), As If They Were Hollow Trunks Of Date-Palms!”

Qur’an  Informs Us That The Lost City Of ‘Ubar’ Or The Ad Tribe Was Punished By Allah And Buried Under The Desert Like Hollow Trunks Of Date Palms.

The AD Tribe Lived In Which City That Was Ubar And It's Present Name Is Kahf. Ubar City Is 172 Km Far From The Salalah City.

Tribe Of Thamud

Approximately 5000 Year Ago There Was A Tribe Known As Thamud. This Tribe Lived In The Area Of Mada'in Saleh Of Saudia Arab Which Is 405 Km Far Away From The Madinah City.

 About The Tribe Allah Mentioned In Qur’an.  ” And To Thamud (People, We Sent) Their Brother Salih (Saleh). He Said: ”O My People! Worship Allah, You Have No Other Ilah (God) But Him. He Brought You Forth From The Earth And Settled You Therein, Then Ask Forgiveness Of Him And Turn To Him In Repentance. Certainly, My Lord Is Near (To All By His Knowledge), Responsive.”
